Laura Steinbrink is an expert sustainability advisor and consultant who has been working on projects across the nation since 2007. Laura has a long career developing strategies and initiatives that bring about sustainable organizational growth in the public and private sectors. Her business administration and project management expertise provide project teams leadership in establishing and implementing sustainability strategies. She has worked with the City of Cleveland, Ohio Schools Facilities Commission, Department of Homeland Security, Breen and Company, The Cleveland Clinic and Old Dominion Freight Lines on an array of building types that have achieved LEED certification. She is is a member of the Ohio and Arkansas chapters of the USGBC.
Matthew Setzekorn, Principal, PE, CBCP, BEMP, LEED AP BD+C
Mr. Setzekorn has 18 years’ experience in the construction, design/engineering and commissioning of mechanical and plumbing systems that include central systems, geo-thermal, and stand alone systems. He has held positions as President and Vice President of Engineering, and direct involvement as Senior Project Engineer. Mr. Setzekorn has working experience on projects across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, as well as throughout the USA. He is a Licensed Engineer experienced in all phases of construction and engineering that include system analysis and design, Energy modeling and simulation, preparation of construction documents and specifications, field supervision, construction administration, as well as building energy and envelope commissioning activities, including retrocommissioning for a wide range of new and renovation projects types including commercial, healthcare, retail, educational, institutional, hospitality, and industrial.
Susann Geithner, Principal, LEED AP BD+C, EB O+M
Sustainability Consulting, Commissioning, Energy Audits and for LEED is Susann’s focus with her professional experience in design, construction, property management, and real estate investment. She has been working on LEED projects in almost every category for the last 10 years, and was the project lead of the first LEED CS Platinum building under version 2009, An den Bruecken located in Munich Germany (won Real Estate Manager Award for Sustainability in 2011). In addition, she also managed the LEED Certification for The Square, a 1.7 million square feet mixed use building at the Frankfurt airport. It’s Germany’s largest office building housing also two hotels and retail and just won the MIPM Award for best office development. Jane Wise, Office Manager
Jane Wise has been working with Emerald Built Environments since 2012 as office manager. In her role, she supports the team with administrative tasks, marketing and invoicing.
